Texas Arthroscopy & Sports Medicine Institute, LLC.
(TASMI) is dedicated to promoting research and education in the fields of sports
medicine and arthroscopic surgery, and provides state-of-the-art diagnosis and
treatment of sports related injuries using both non-operative and minimally invasive arthroscopic
surgical techniques.
Institute History
 | Founded by Dr. Omer Ilahi (an orthopedic surgeon
specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery), TASMI opened two
patient treatment facilities in October of 2002. Prior to that time, TASMI had
been involved solely in research. |
| Research at TASMI has led to improved
understanding of injuries and joint conditions as well as better treatment
